March 21, 2008 - Spring is here! uh, maybe not

November 16th Rob turns 39! (ohmigawd) - Happy Birthday Rob!
November 13th Emma turned 2 & October 26th Lisa turned 4 ! ! ! The girls celebrated with a "dress up party" and had such a good time. Actually Yuki planned a couple of gatherings for the girls and they had tons-o-cake!
Well, summer is over and autumn is here, or “fall” as North Americans say. Soon the trees will change color, and the leaves will fall, getting ready for that season I'm not so fond of - winter. Yuck! But while the weather is still good let's concentrate on that! Gorgeous sunny days and hopefully this will last far into December (ever the optimist).
I’ve warned the neighbors I will still be seen sitting on my patio reading all winter did it all summer so why stop because it’s 20 below right? Well, as long as the sun is shining anyway!
Here it is mid-July and I haven't updated my Blog since New Year's!
I have been really busy looking after "condo" business and spend a lot of free time doing stuff for the association.
As well, I have been rather busy still sorting through what goes where in the condo and what I want to do with it next, that will fit into my tiny little budget.
Now that I have my first "guest" coming I had to actually clean out the 2nd bedroom which had become (as the Brit's call it) the Box Room. It is actually now looking like a guest room / workout room. Stop laughing, I do have a treadmill (pretty new) and an exercise bike (that came here on the Ark), and one of those ball things that you are supposed to be able to use instead of the hard old floor.
I will update again after my friend is here, and hopefully be able to add some pictures of us if/when we get to do a bit of touring and/or just lounging!
Happy New Year (and of course Merry Christmas) Here is hoping everyone had a fabulous Christmas and will have a wonderful New Year in 2007!
I spent the holidays in the UK with Rob, Yuki, Lisa & Emma. I had a great time. It could only have been better if I hadn't picked up a cold and shared it with the kids, but such is life when you travel.
The girls are soooo cute and growing like little weeds. They have marvelous personalities and are fun to be around.
